A Destination To …?

After all these years and I hadn’t seen this place.

Does that ever happen to you?

When I lived in New York, I HAD to repeatedly go to the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, and the then World Trade Center. Why?

Because there were guests coming into town and our family accompanied our guests. I learned early on to visit our own treasures, so looking back, I’m glad I did.

I recently took a stroll on the Esplanade in Redondo Beach and came across this beautiful Redondo Beach Public Library.

A beautiful piece of architecture from days gone by and now listed as a Historical California Landmark.

It’s now used for special events. Although it is no longer used as a library, I could sit outside on the lawn and read. I think I’ll come back more often.
